Ultra Fine Point Pilot Permanent Marker

I finally got some more of these great little pens. Like looking for gold. These last better than any pen I have ever tried.  I once filled a basket with labels from all the ”permanent” markers on the market.  After a year and a half, the only label  with any ink on it at all was the label written with this pen.

Graphite Pencil

On another level, we have a wax based graphite pencil that works well on these labels. Using this pencil makes it easy to reuse the labels. You do have to be careful, because touching them over the printed area can make them smear, but they won't fade. These are a little better than regular pencils, but push too hard and they crumble at the tip, so take your time and you can do a nice job of printing. Don't be in a rush.  My tendency was to push too hard and try to write too fast. You will find these better for the larger labels, if you have to write small better to use the Pilot pens.
