Painted Plant Stakes - 12 gauge wire

30 inches long, thin, 12 gauge wire. Strong, but easily bent or wound, painted stakes with a rubber tip. The rubber tip can save an eye. It's hard to see the tips of the stakes when they are hidden in the flower spikes. I used to bend regular stakes at the end for eye protection, and some manufacturers just paint the tips white, but these with the rubber tips I think are pretty trouble free. Sometime in the future they are bound to get old, but the tips can be replaced. These stakes fit the small Phalaenopsis plant clips perfectly. The stakes can also be wound into a spiral shape. Easily wrapped around a round dowel rod or even a kitchen utensil to make a spiral shape to decoratively support a flower spike!

I have these available in two colors. Green or Dark Brown. The green blends with the plant material such as oncidiums, while the browns are made to be the same color as the spikes of phalaenopsis.

Painted Plant Stakes - 10 gauge wire

18, 24 and 36 inches long, these are made from 10 gauge wire, a little stronger and 6 inches longer than our 12 gauge stakes. For cymbidiums, delphiniums, etc, whatever grows long and needs a little extra support. The rubber tips do not come attached to these stakes. I think it made the packing a bit harder so they come with the stakes, but, in a little bag and you can use them where you see fit. Extra rubber tips are available as shown above.
